Get together for Islamabad/ Rawalpindi Chapter was held on December 25, 2004 at Artillery Mess (Old Pindi Club).  In all, 60 participants could attend which included 5 Old Teachers. Amongst the teachers; the occasion was honored by Mr. Karam Elahi, Afzal Khan, M H Hamdani, Noor Muhammad Bangash and Muhammad Rafiq. Ex Principal, Brig Ajmal Khan also joined the ceremony and graced the occasion. Time for get together was set at 1145 Hrs; however, some colleagues because of their commitments joined the group after 1400 Hrs. After some emotional scenes of meeting old colleagues after such a long gap, time was set to select new committee to look after the Capital Chapter. It was also proposed that the committee should have PATRON-IN-CHIEF from one of the Old faculty members. The proposal was highly appreciated and the name of Mr. M H Hamdani was unanimously selected for the post. The following committee members were selected:

1. Mr. M H Hamdani - Patron-in-Chief
2. Mr. Mumtaz Ali Khan - President
3. Wg Cdr A Hameed Qureshi - Secretary General
4. Mr. Raheem Dad - Information Secretary
5. Mr. Junaid Noor - Finance Secretary

The group was addressed by the Patron-in-Chief who stressed on a point that all Kohatians must continue their struggle and excel in their own fields. He also admired the efforts put in by a number of Kohatians who have excelled in their career and attained good name both for themselves & CCK and are at very honorable posts. Mr Hamdani in the end reiterated and advised all the Kohatians to select Aim in life, work hard to achieve it, be honest and keep the self character and integrity above all. Some other Kohatians who addressed the group included Dr. Naim Khan from UK, Shahid from California and Shuja placed at Islamabad. They all offered generous help and cooperation in their own fields to all Kohatians. 

A decision was taken that meetings of the Chapter may be held on quarterly basis on pre-determined dates so that every one is aware of the gathering time frame. A time schedule for this particular aspect would be decided in the committee body meeting and all individuals would accordingly be informed. Suggestions given by some of the individuals were noted and would, InshaAllah, be implemented in the future meetings. 

Pressed against time and eyes of the group focused on the waiters, sumptuous food was served at 1500 hrs followed by tea. The meeting was adjourned at 1600 Hrs. 

I, on behalf of the organizing committee, thank all the participants who honored the occasion. I also thank all those colleagues who sent me e-mails and contacted me on phone for appreciating the arrangements, food and the photography. I would, however, like to mention one point to all our Kohatian colleagues that after having confirmed their participation, they are requested to make it a point to join the gathering. The committee makes tremendous efforts in arranging various things. There are no funds available with the committee and it is always calculated on the confirmation of participants. Endeavor is always made to remind each individual 2-3 times. Failing to turn up after confirmation puts the committee under tremendous financial pressure. Regrets at last minute do not serve the purpose because all arrangements and calculations have already been made. It is also worth mentioning that all the Old Teachers are cordially invited and never charged for the occasion. I would, therefore, request all the Kohatians to help in facilitating the function and make it a success with their continued cooperation and good turn-out figure. The committee would make utmost endeavor to serve you better.
